Let me get it started by publishing one of my originals. It's called 'Lowcountry Anthem' -- an ode to the place where I live...
Lowcountry Anthem

There, flying low across the marshes
The sun is on his shoulders
Here, right beneath my keel
There’s life within these waters
Do you hear the Song of the South
Can you feel the beauty wrap around you
Like the ebbing tide it puts my mind at ease
Lowcountry breeze
My Lowcountry breeze
Where on little planet Earth
Can you find more wonder
The sea kisses ancient sands
Then crashes, blows and thunders
Stay and it will learn your name
In time it purges all man’s shame
Like the ebbing tide it puts my mind at ease
Lowcountry breeze
My Lowcountry breeze
How could anyone deny
The wonder of His glory
Seek and you will surely find
The magic in this story
Ask and you will be amazed
All peace flows freely from His Grace
Like the ebbing tide it puts my mind at ease
Lowcountry breeze
My Lowcountry breeze
